About Roseville Corriedales

Roseville Corriedale Wool

Although the Roseville Corriedale Stud was formed in 1996, we have been fleece weighing since 1978, always keeping a focus on the importance of lifting wool production and type.

The Stud has improved its wool from 28-30 mic harsh dry types wool, cutting around 4 kg average, to 24-26 mic wool which is bright, more crimpy, higher yielding wool with low standard deviation and coefficient of variation. Since 2007 ewes have cut an average of 6.5kg per head.

A testament to the quality of this wool is that the Schneider Group, who source the best natural fibres from around the world, is now buying Roseville wool.
